      The new Silver Line cargo ship SILVERFORCE which has just been completed by the Sir James Laing & Sons Ltd. shipyard at Sunderland was unable to leave the fitting out berth for sea trials because of a strike for higher wages by tugboat crews on the Rivers Tyne and Wear.
