The liner had called at Greenock anchorage on passage from Montreal to Liverpool, and after disembarking passengers to a chartered Clyde steamer, the liner left Greenock to continue on her passage to Liverpool. The puffer SPARTAN attended the liner at the anchorage to carry the passengers' luggage from the ship to Prince's Pier, Greenock, where the passengers would be landed from the liner and be reunited with their luggage |
