When leaving King George V Dock for Manchester

the vessel developed steering trouble and was reberthed,

by her tugs, at the nearby 2 Riverside Quay, Shieldhall.

After about 22 minutes the steering problem was fixed

and DAPHNE continued downriver on her passage to

Manchester.
