Lucknow is the capital city of the state of Uttar Pradesh in India.

CITY OF LUCKNOW arrived in Prince's Dock from Mombasa via Belfast at 0900 on 14th June 1962.

She shifted berth at 0700 on 15th June from berth 1/2 Prince's Dock, moving eastwards along the dock wall, to berth 3/4 Prince's Dock, with her stern on berth 3/4 wall.

Another shift, this time at 1730 that day, 15th June, shifting ahead to put her bow on berth 1/2 wall, draught forward 11 feet and aft 20' 6"

She sailed from Glasgow for Swansea and South African ports on 22nd June at 1542
