   Firstly  : Does anyone have an image or any details of VASILIY KACHALOV which we can use on this site ?

   The Russian general cargo ship VASILIY KACHALOV arrived at berth 16 Rothesay Dock, Clydebank, Glasgow at 1235 on 12th December 1962.   She had come from Ventspils on the Baltic Sea coast of Latvia and was carrying an inward cargo of 4,591 tons of steel coils, and was sitting evenly with a forward and aft draught of 22’ 3.”

   Stevedores J. F. Wilson commenced discharging at 1330 on 12th December, and finished unloading at 0945 on 15th December.

      VASILIY KACHALOV left Rothesay Dock for Bremen (Germany) at 1200 on 15th December, light-ship (no cargo on board) and draught 10 feet forward and 15’ 9” aft.
