Staff changes at R.L. Alpine, Agents, Ardrossan

From "The Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald" dated 8th March 1963.

Mr. Ian Wilson, 8 McDowall Place, Ardrossan, Secretary to R.L.Alpine & Co. Ltd., Shipbrokers and Bunkering Agents, Winton Buildings, Ardrossan, and Norwegian Vice Consul, has resigned his position to take up another appointment.

Mr. Wilson yesterday left the Ardrossan Company with which he has been employed for the past ten years, and on Monday joins the firm of Ropner, ship-owners, London.
His parents and grandparents have had a long association with Ardrossan.

Mr. Thomas McPherson, Christie Gardens, Saltcoats, who since leaving school has been in the employment of R.L. Alpine, has been appointed to succeed Mr. Wilson as Secretary of the Company.
His should be a popular appointment.
