Dense fog delays trains from Glasgow to Ardrossan

From The Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald dated Friday 13th November 1964

Trains travelling from Glasgow to Ardrossan on Tuesday were delayed by dense fog which brought traffic in the city almost to a standstill.
Nearly all trains were affected, some of them running up to an hour late.
