National Trust Cruise

The National Trust for Scotland and the National Trust have again arranged three cruises for next year in the Bergen Line M.S. Meteor.

A western coasts cruise leaves Southampton on 8th May under the leadership of the Earl of Antrim, chairman of the National Trust's committee for Northern Ireland.
The itinerary ranges from Breton chateaux to Inverary by way of Dublin, and the cruise ends at Ardrossan on 14th May.

A gardens cruise, with Irish gardens providing the special attraction, leaves Ardrossan on 15th May and returns on 22nd May.
The leader will be Lieutenant Colonel Sir James Horlick, Bt.

Mr J.C. Robertson will lead an islands cruise from Ardrossan on 22nd May.
Before the cruise ends at Oban on 29th May, passengers will have visited about 12 islands, including St. Kilda.
Booking arrangements are in the hands of the National Trust for Scotland at 5 Charlotte Square, Edinburgh.

    The National Trust for Scotland have announced that they have arranged three cruises for next year on the passenger ship METEOR of the Bergen Line of Bergen, Norway.

   The first, called the “Western Coasts Cruise” will leave Southampton on 8th May and will visit Breton Chateaux in France, then Dublin and Inverary and ending at Ardrossan on 14th May.

   The next cruise, a “Gardens Cruise” starts at Ardrossan on 15th May and will visit Gardens in Ireland and Scotland and returns to Ardrossan on 22nd May.

   The final cruise, appropriately called “Islands Cruise” leaves Ardrossan on 22nd May and will visit Arran and islands of the Western Isles of Scotland, including the remote St. Kilda, and should visit 12 islands in total before finishing at Oban on 29th May.
