From "The Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald" dated Friday 26th January 1973.

There were twenty arrivals at Ardrossan Harbour last week, two of which were tankers.
The biggest vessel was "Pytheus" from Heysham, England.
On Wednesday, the "Marie Frem" arrived from Kilroot, Northern Ireland, with industrial salt.
At the weekend, "Breexand" sailed for Spain with a cargo of steel coils.
