MAN'S BODY IDENTIFIED
The body of a man found in the old dock at Ardrossan Harbour last week-end has been identified as that of James Hogg, a forty-year-old seaman of no fixed abode.
The man had not been seen since Sunday 5th February when he failed to rejoin the coastal tanker "Fragum" which was berthed at Ardrossan.
The body was discovered at 8:30 last Saturday morning by two shipwrights who immediately got in touch with the police.
Later the same day, a member of the "Fragum's" crew identified the body. |
