This cargo ship was launched on 13th October 1951, and completed 19th January 1952, as yard number 112 by Ferus Smit, Foxhol, Netherlands, for the Dutch owners N.V. Schpvt. Onderneming Kustverkeer, Rotterdam.
Dimensions were deadweight 836 tons, length overall 189 feet (57.6 metres,) breadth 31 feet (9.3 metres), and a diesel engine drove one propeller, giving a service speed of 10 knots.
Sold in 1954 she was renamed Foxfield, sold again in 1966 this time to Burns & Laird of Glasgow and renamed Lairdsfox, and they sold her in 1977, her new name being Lilaida.
Her end arrived when she was delivered to shipbreakers in Cadiz, Spain, on 27th August 1989.
