She has been designed for the Mediterranean service and is equipped to navigate the St. Lawrence seaway. RAPALLO can carry general and refrigerated cargo and also has tanks for edible oil.
The power unit is a seven-cylinder Clark-Sulzer diesel engine of 3,500 b.h.p.
