Ardrossan Harbour Tug

Re the Ardrossan Harbour tug Cockspur she was built as the Peter Pan in 1918 by Edwards & Co London with a weight of 135 tons , length 85.4 ft. breadth 26.00 ft draft 10.4 ft.
The engines were supplied by W.R. Plenty Son & Co. and she was bought by The Ardrossan Harbour Co in 1925 . In 1946 she was sold to Peter Fraser & Co , Hull. Her original name seems to have been quite appropriate.
