PACIFIC FORTUNE arrived at Plantation Quay, Glasgow at 0935 on 5th March 1962. The dock log-book shows the date of arrival as 5th February, but this is incorrect and is actually 5th March, and is verified from the book's index and previous and following vessels arrivals.

On 6th March at 1000 PACIFIC FORTUNE bunkered 200 tons of fuel oil from the harbour oiler CLANITY

She left the berth in Plantation Quay at 1112 on 7th March for Meadowside Quay, Glasgow, to discharge grain. On shifting, her draught forward was 21' 7" and aft 21' 1"

The dock logbook incorrectly shows her arrival as February, but her stay in Glasgow was definitely in March 1962 At 1340 on 8th March she left berth 65 (draught forward 14' 7" and aft 20' 5") and canted in the nearby Prince's Dock and re-berthed at berth 65 at 1455, this time she tied-up in position with her head West and stern 3 blinds into berth 63. On 6th March at 1400 PORT BRISBANE bunkered 200 tons of fuel oil from the oiler CLANITY PORT BRISBANE departed Glasgow at 1330 on 9th March for Belfast
