There are always two tugs used to assist in berthing and sailing the ocean-going tankers at Ardrossan Harbour. Unfortunately, in this case, the Port Control has not recorded the name of the other tug which assisted SEAWAY to berth the tanker BERIT.
So, the Harbour tug SEAWAY (as she always did for ocean tankers) attached to the bow of BERIT and towed the tanker from the Roadstead to the tanker berth in Ardrossan Harbour |
