   BALLYGALLY HEAD arrived in Glasgow at 0135 on 5th July 1962, coming from Antwerp (Belgium) via Belfast (Northern Ireland) and berthed at 57/59 Mavisbank Quay, with her head east.   She was carrying 202 tons of general cargo to discharge, and her draught was 8' 00" forward and 12' 00" aft.

   Clyde Shipping Company stevedores started unloading at 0800 on 5th July and finished discharge at 1550 that day.  They also commenced loading a general  cargo of 149 tons at 1400 that afternoon and completed loading at 1530 on 6th July.

   BALLYGALLY HEAD cast off her mooring ropes at 1757 on 6th July then drawing 8' 9" forward and 11’ 00” aft, left the berth and started down the River Clyde on her passage to Antwerp.
