RUYSDAEL arrives in Glasgow on 6th July at 1845 from Buenos Aires (Argentina) via Liverpool. On 12th July at 2120 RUYSDAEL shifted from berths 7 and 8 Prince's Dock to Meadowside Quay, returning from Meadowside on 19th July to her previous berth 7 and 8 Prince's Dock.
At 1010 on 25th July the oiler APEXITY comes alongside and delivers 140 tons of diesel.
RUYSDAEL departed Glasgow for Buenos Aires (Argentina) via Liverpool on 26th July at 1732. |

Tug FLYING DUCK at bow and tug FLYING SPITFIRE at stern were towing RUYSDAEL from berth 4 Meadowside Quay ahead and passing Govan Watch House at Govan Wharf, Govan, Glasgow, and heading East upriver. At Prince's Dock canting basin (= a large area of water where a ship can be turned around 180 degrees) the two tugs canted (= turned) RUYSDAEL and the ship was then able to proceed down the River Clyde on the start of her passage to her next port-of-call. |
