Mr. Mitchell Murray Joins Board Of Ardrossan Dockyard

From the Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald dated Friday 13th March, 1964

DOCKYARD BOARD APPOINTMENT

The appointment is announced of Mr Mitchell Murray to the board of Directors of Ardrossan Dockyard Limited.
Mr Murray, who is at present naval architect at the yard, became technical director with effect from 1st March.

Educated at Ardrossan Academy, he served his time as a draughtsman in the dockyard.
After working for some time at Messrs Alexander Stephen & Sons Ltd, at Linthouse, he returned to Ardrossan about fifteen months ago.
A married man, Mr Murray now lives in Stevenston.
