Cunard's "Carinthia" - a floating shop window

From "The Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald" dated 26th March 1965.

FLOATING SHOP WINDOW

AN EXCELLENT IDEA FROM THE CUNARD COMPANY

When their liner "Carinthia" leaves the Clyde for Montreal on Wednesday of next week - and again on 21st May - she will have on display for her passengers a wide range of Scottish products.

And, just to enliven the exhibition, there will be pipe music and highland dancing.

The Cunard Company want to help Scottish exports.
And in what better way than providing manufacturers with free facilities to show their goods both ways across the Atlantic, and probably at a one-day exhibition on the liner at Montreal.
