SALARIES  RANGE  FROM  £900

TO  OVER  £3000 PER ANNUM 

 

There is an opportunity to join a major cargo liner company as an officer if you are between the ages of 20 and 26.

We offer excellent conditions of service voyaging from the U.K. to the Far East and Australia.

Voyages from 3 ½ to 4 months with four weeks’ leave at the end of each voyage.

Vacancies exist in the Blue Funnel and Glen Line Fleets for Mechanical and Electrical Engineers with Ordinary National Certificate, Higher National Certificate, or Diploma of Technology or equivalents, and who have had suitable industrial experience.

Qualified Officers from the sea staff are considered for appointments ashore within the Engineering Department.

Vacancies for Engineer Cadetships between the ages of 16 and 18 for young men who are taking the G.C.E. Examinations in at least four subjects, three of which must be Mathematics, Physics and English.
