At 1000 on 2nd April the harbour oiler CLANITY came alongside and bunkered her with 100 tons of fuel oil

On 5th April the floating crane NEWSHOT loaded 3 lifts total 32 tons onto LAKE PENNASK

At 1600 on 9th April LAKE PENNASK departed Glasgow for Calcutta via Birkenhead
