Colin MacKenzzie writes : The date and times are only approximate for 1965, but WAIWERA departed Glasgow for Belfast then Liverpool then through Suez Canal to Port Sudan, thence to Fremantle, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane , then to Auckland , down to Taranaki , New Plymouth and to Picton in the Queen Marlborough Sound then over to Whangerai . "WAIWERA" is the Maori word for "hot water"
