KYLIX then departed on passage light-ship to Curacao in the Caribbean Sea

After sailing KYLIX and having been released by the Pilot, Captain McInnes brought STRONGBOW into the Harbour and berthed, to stand-by for about 12 hours, waiting to assist the Norwegian tanker POLYSTAR to berth
