SPIGERBORG had a breadth of 47 feet, which was a tight squeeze to pass through the 58 feet wide dock gate at Eglinton Dock, Ardrossan. Her end came in 1971 when, during the Indian-Pakistan war, she was bombed and sunk in Chittagong Roads. |
