Steel & Bennie's tug WRESTLER arrived at Ardrossan roadstead from Greenock, and tug-master Docherty manoeuvered the tug to the stern of POLYSTAR and attached the tow-line.

With the tug SEAWAY at the bow and WRESTLER at the stern both tugs assisted the Einar Rasmussen's Tanker POLYSTAR bow-first from the Roadstead and through the 300-feet wide Harbour entrance to the Tanker berth in Ardrossan

Now that the tanker was made fast at the berth, the Pilot released WRESTLER, and tug-master Docherty took his tug from Ardrossan to make his way back up the Firth of Clyde to return to Greenock
