Liberian tanker HAROLD H HELM tows crippled Bank Line cargo ship TRENTBANK

   The 6,310-ton Glasgow-registered motor vessel TRENTBANK. anchored off Port Said after being under tow since last Friday, sank today, according to reports reaching the headquarters of the Suez Canal Authority.

   The TRENTBANK was holed and crippled in a collision with the Portuguese tanker FOGO, and had been towed by the Liberian tanker HAROLD H HELM.

   An engineer was killed in the collision.
