F. T. Everard’s 1944-built 211 –feet long general cargo coaster AMENITY arrived at berth 2 Rothesay Dock, Clydebank, Glasgow, at 1700 on 3rd July 1963, carrying 1,080 tons of clinker from Drogheda, Ireland, and her draught forward was 13’ 3” and aft 13’ 8.” The stevedore company J. F. Wilson began unloading at 0800 on 4th July, completing discharge about 7 hours later, at 1445 that afternoon. AMENITY left Rothesay Dock at 1704 on 4th July, light-ship for Partington on the Manchester Ship Canal, drawing 6 feet forward and 11 feet aft.
Additional note : AMENITY was broken up in 1968
