The Clyde passenger excursion steamer DUCHESS OF HAMILTON met bad weather during her trip from Brodick (Isle of Arran) to Ayr in the afternoon and was forced to turn back to Brodick. After sheltering for some time at Brodick she cancelled her call at Ayr and returned upriver. |
