Royal Navy Cruiser H.M.S. BERMUDA leaves Greenock

   Five British and American warships arrived at Greenock prior to taking part in Joint Naval Exercises next week.

   The Royal Navy cruiser H.M.S. BERMUDA and the Destroyers H.M.S. BROADSWORD and H.M.S. SCORPION are alongside at Greenock and the American Aircraft Carrier U.S.S. ESSEX and the Fleet Oiler U.S.S. WACCAMAW are anchored at Tail-of-the-Bank.

   Both BERMUDA and ESSEX will be open to the public to visit and ship’s boats from the Aircraft Carrier will ferry passengers to ESSEX.

   The ships will leave Greenock on Monday and Tuesday of next week.
