Blue Funnel's HECTOR arrived in berth 2 King George V Dock, Glasgow with her head South at 0050 on 4th November 1963 from Melbourne (Australia) via Prince's Dock, Glasgow and she was carrying 92 tons of inward general cargo and drawing 15' 9" forward and 20' 6" aft. The Renfrew Stevedore Company commenced unloading the cargo at 0800 on 4th November and completed discharge at 1545 that afternoon. The Stevedores commenced loading the outward cargo of 2,200 tons of general cargo at 0800 on 4th November and completed loading at 1530 on 7th November. Her draught forward was then 19' 10" and aft 23' 2" The ship cast off at 1550 on 7th November and, moving astern, departed King George V Dock and then canted in the River and then travelled downriver to Gourock where she dropped her Pilot and proceeded on passage to Liverpool, to complete her loading for Adelaide and Melbourne |
