U.S.S. YELLOWSTONE was at the Tail-of-the-Bank Anchorage off Greenock from 18th to 28th September, bringing stores and supplies for the U.S. Navy ships at Holy Loch, Firth of Clyde.. During the 10-days stay at the anchorage Liberty Boats plied to / from U.S.S. YELLOWSTONE and Albert Harbour, Greenock. At Albert Harbour the boats loaded 3 tons of Naval Stores, 2 tons 19 cwts of Victualling Stores, 5 Motor Cars and landed 5 Motor cars. |
