Ardrossan Harbour tug SEAWAY at the bow and Steel & Bennie tug CAMPAIGNER (tugmaster G Cronk) at the stern towed the “H”-class Shell UK ocean tanker HINEA from Ardrossan Roadstead through the Ardrossan Harbour entrance and berthed the tanker at berth 12 Ocean Tanker berth at 0715am. At 0725am when HINEA was all fast at the berth the Harbour Pilot released both tugs and CAMPAIGNER left Ardrossan to make her 28 mile passage back to Victoria Harbour in Greenock. |
