by the tug CHIEFTAIN and at the stern by tug VANGUARD.

   BARNEY KIRSCHBAUM was carrying stores and aircraft

spares to support the Escort Aircraft Carrier U.S.S. SICILY

  which would arrive at King George V Dock on 7th
