Glasgow men stole from container at harbour

GLASGOW MEN STOLE FROM CONTAINER

Two Glasgow men who broke into a container in the yard of the Anglo Continental Container Services Ltd. at Ardrossan last Saturday night and stole 24 dozen dusters and seven clocks appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday.

They admitted the theft, and one of them, who has four previous convictions, was sent to prison for three months.
The other man, who admitted one previous conviction for theft, and also pleaded guilty to failing to stop while driving a car in Inches Road when signalled to do so by the Police was fined a total of ?15.
