   I've never before taken photographs in darkness so must apologise for my amateurishness for them.

 

7am (0700) :  It was sunrise with the sun just getting out of it's bed and peeking over the eastern horizon and sleeping Greenock was bathed in soft early-morning twilight.   A really beautiful day was forecast as WORLD VOYAGER, arriving from Belfast, slid quietly through the still Clyde waters to berth starboard-side-to the Cruise Pontoon at Greenock Ocean Terminal.

   The passengers, mostly elderly Canadians, would soon be enjoying their first ever breakfast in Scotland.
