Launch of new ship "Zambezia" at Ardrossan Dockyard

Mr. John C. Coleman, Managing Director of Ardrossan Dockyard Ltd., informs me that the Portuguese ship "Zambezia" will be launched on Tuesday first at 1.30 pm.

About eighty guests will be present, including many who will travel from Portugal, and officers of the Portuguese Navy at present in Glasgow on business.

The "Zambezia," a cargo and passenger ship, is one of the largest to be launched from that yard.
She is painted at the top in light grey with a touch of green shown. The next colour is deep green and the bottom brown.
