Ardrossan Harbour coal-trimmers end their strike

The strike of coal-trimmers at Ardrossan Harbour ended yesterday when the harbour company made a final offer to pay an extra farthing per ton on the overtime rate for coal, and this was accepted by the striker's delegates.
As the result of a special matinee held in the Crown Picture Palace, Ardrossan, on Tuesday, ?9 2s was realised on behalf of the strikers' families.
