Frigate HMS Pheasant arrives at Troon for demolition after eventful passage

The frigate "Pheasant" arrived safely in tow at Troon Shipbuilding yard on Tuesday forenoon after a rather adventurous passage from Plymouth.
On Thursday of last week near the Isles of Scilly, during a gale, she broke away from the tug "Warden" and her 15-man crew were taken off by helicopter.
Last Saturday they were re-embarked - by the same method - and the journey to Troon was continued without further mishap.
