From "The Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald" dated 4th June 1926
The well-known Clan liner "Olympia," on her arrival in Ardrossan harbour on Tuesday, completed her last voyage.
She has been sold to a Kilmarnock firm in order to be broken up, and the breaking up process will be carried out at Ardrossan.
The "Olympia," which is of 3297 net registered tonnage, is a fine looking vessel. To all appearances she is good for many years yet, but her doom has been sealed and she will voyage to and from India no more. |
