William Milne and David Milne die within weeks of each other.

From "The Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald" dated Friday 13th January 1961.

Two retired brothers, Mr. William Milne, formerly Chief Engineer on ICI ships, and Mr. David Milne, a retired baker, died within a few weeks of each other.
William died suddenly while on a visit to his sister at Kilmarnock, and David died on 6th January in hospital.

William, who resided at 20 Caledonia Road, Ardrossan, was 73 years of age: David was 69 and resided at Argyle Road, Saltcoats.
Both were natives of Ardrossan, where their father was a foreman and diver with Ardrossan Harbour Company for a long number of years.
The only surviving brother is a coal merchant in Ardrossan.
