From "The Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald" dated Friday 7th August 1964

Sixty-seven vessels, including seven tankers, docked at Ardrossan Harbour during the week ended last Saturday.
Among the vessels to arrive were the cargo vessel "Godofoss" with fish-meal from Iceland and the "Punta Amer" with general cargo from Spain.
The tanker "Onward Progress" loaded gas oil for Stornoway.
