SOLD TO GREEK OWNERS

Two former vessels of MacBrayne's fleet, the "Lochearn" and the "Lochmor," which have been bought by Greek owners and renamed "Naias" and "Amimoni," left Ardrossan Harbour on Tuesday after servicing and routine overhaul at Ardrossan Dockyard.

The vessels, which were built in Ardrossan 34 years ago, are going to Piraeus in Greece where they will be converted before starting their new life as passenger ships plying between the Greek Islands.
