AUSTRALIA STAR shifted from Stobcross Quay, Glasgow, across the river, to enter Number 3 Govan Dry-Dock, Glasgow, entering the dock at 0930 on 3rd March 1962.

She undocked from the graving dock at 1312 on 8th March, canted in Prince's Dock, and at 1405 hours berthed at 73 Plantation Quay, Glasgow, head West, with her bow on the West wall. Her draught forward was 15 feet and aft 20' 11"

On 14th March, from 2017 to 2030 and again from 2045 to 2100, AUSTRALIA STAR conducted engine trials, draught forward being 14' 11" and aft 23 feet

Next day, 15th March, engines were tested turning each way, from 0830 to 0845.

Later that day, 15th March, at 1100, the floating crane NEWSHOT came alongside and loaded 1 heavy lift of 12 tons 18 cwts onto the Blue Star vessel.

AUSTRALIA STAR departed Plantation Quay, Glasgow, at 1830 on 16th March for Auckland (New Zealand) via Liverpool

LETITIA arrived in Prince's Dock, Glasgow from Canada at 1000 on 15th March 1962 At 1155 on 17th March she shifted from berth 10/11 to the opposite side of the basin to berth 16/17 Prince's Dock, draught forward being 18' 112 and aft 22' 8" Only an hour later, at 1300, she shifted back from berth 16/17 back to her previous berth 10/11 Prince's Dock. At 0900 on 21st March the harbour oiler APEXITY came alongside LETITIA and bunkered her with 30 tons of fuel oil On 22nd March at 1120 LETITIA cast off her ropes and shifted from Prince's Dock to the nearby Meadowside Quay, Glasgow, where she would discharge her 2,000 tons of grain into the Meadowside Granary at the quay

At 0555 on 13th March 1962 Blue Funnel's JASON tied-up in Prince's Dock from Sydney via Liverpool.

She was on the ground (sitting on the river-bed at her berth) on the first low water after her arrival, being 3 feet off the quay and draught forward 23' 12 and aft 25' 5"

At 1220 on 17th March JASON cast off from Prince's Dock and shifted downriver for Meadowside Quay, Glasgow (Glasgow's grain berth) to unload her 1649 tons of grain cargo.
