WARLIGHT arrived at Custom House Quay, Glasgow

 with 160 tons of Crushed Granite from Furnace

 (Loch Fyne) and commenced discharging.

   (The Granite was for the account of William Sim & Co. Ltd.)

RAYLIGHT had discharged a cargo of coal at Dunoon

 and left for Glenarm (Northern Ireland) and had to

 shelter in Campbeltown where she was windbound

 for 6 days, arriving at Glenarm on 14th and at

 1300 commenced loading 117 tons 1 cwt of Limestone for Queen’s Dock, Glasgow (account of J. Dougall)

Ross & Marshall's Steam Clyde Puffer POLARLIGHT arrives at Bruichladdich with Barley from Glasgow

POLARLIGHT had arrived at Meadowside Quay, Glasgow 

 on 2^nd September and started loading Barley for

 Bruichladdich, Islay (account of Bruichladdich Distillery)

 when she was delayed for about 7 days by a dock strike.

  On 9^th loading restarted and was completed on 10^th. 

   POLARLIGHT then shifted to Queen’s Dock to bunker

 with coal and then left on passage to Bruichladdich

 (Islay), arriving on 14th.

 LIMELIGHT had delivered 3000 cases of Beer

 (52 tons 3 cwts) from Paisley to Belfast and had

brought empty cases from Belfast to Kingston Dock,

 Glasgow.    13^th at Troon but her cargo was not ready

 and she was ordered to go to Furnace (Loch Fyne)

 and load Granite Chips for Custom House Quay,

 Glasgow (account of William Sim & Co. Ltd.).

 STARLIGHT left Greenock on 13^th on passage to Troon

 and on 14^th at Troon and loaded 85 tons 19 cwts of Coal

 for Otter Ferry, Loch Fyne (account of McPherson & Dissilduft)

 SKYLIGHT at Troon on 13^th loaded 85 tons 12 cwts Coal

 for Dunoon (account A. Blackwood) and arrived at

 Dunoon Coal Pier at 1300 on 14^th and commenced

discharging.
