On leaving General Terminus Quay, Glasgow, ore carrier HASSELO, with Pilot Begg in charge and a Clyde Shipping tug at the bow and stern, the vessel moved off the berth and was towed astern down the channel to the entrance to Prince’s Dock where the tugs canted (turned) her to face downriver to start on her passage to Rotterdam.
