Mystery of dead fish on North shore |
From "The Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald" dated 2nd December 1960
On Wednesday, a large number of dead fish were washed in by the tide at North shore, Ardrossan.
People were observed gathering the fish, but the seagulls did not touch them.
Phone calls were made to the Police Station and to the Harbour office enquiring about the fish and asking if they were safe to eat, but the mystery of the dead fish has not been solved. |
