TEESFIELD arrives in Rothesay Dock, Clydebank, from Old Kilpatrick Oil Depot

   TEESFIELD arrived at berth 17/18 Rothesay Dock, Clydebank, Glasgow, at 2325 on Christmas Day, 25^th December 1962 from the nearby Old Kilpatrick Oil Depot on the River Clyde.   She had a cargo of part fuel oil (outwards) and was drawing 24 feet forward and 24’ 4” aft.

   At 0600 the following morning, 26^th December, which was low water, the ship had the same draught but was lying with her bow 10 feet off the quay and stern alongside the quay, and there was an even strain on the moorings.

   TEESFIELD left Rothesay Dock at 0937 on 26^th December for Liverpool with her cargo of part fuel oil (outwards) and was drawing 24 feet forward and 24’ 4” aft.

While tanker TEESFIELD was berthed in Rothesay Dock she

was 10 feet off forward and alongside aft, with even strain
