   WILLIAM J EVERARD, a brand-new 265 feet long dry cargo coaster arrived at berth 5 Rothesay Dock, Clydebank, Glasgow, from London at 1800 on 6th April 1963.   She was carrying 2373 tons of clinker and her draught forward was 16’ 9” and aft 16’ 10.”

   Two hours after arrival, at 2025, she shifted from berth 5 to berth 2 Rothesay Dock.

   Stevedores J. F. Wilson commenced discharging the clinker at 0800 on 8th April, and unloading was completed at 1630 on 9th April.   Her draught was then 6’ 3” forward and 13’ 3” aft.

   An hour after finishing discharge, at 1750 on 9th April, WILLIAM J EVERARD cast off her mooring ropes and left Rothesay Dock for Swansea.
