Two Chinese crewmen fined at Ardrossan Police Court

From The Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald dated Friday 24th July 1964

Two Chinamen, - Adrian Tsang, assistant steward, and Alan Tsang, chief cook - were each fined ?5 by Provost William Currie at Ardrossan Police Court on Monday when they admitted, by letter, committing a breach of the peace outside the police station in Harbour Street, on Wednesday 15th July.

Mr J. F. Gallie, burgh prosecutor, stated that a disturbance had taken place in Glasgow Street involving members of the crew of a ship berthed in Ardrossan Harbour.
While the police were attending to the trouble, accused interfered, used provocative language and generally made nuisances of themselves.
