Death Of Captain William Rennie, Formerly Of The Donaldson Line |
From The Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald dated Friday 20th March 1964
We regret to record the death of one of Brodick's senior and most respected citizens, Captain William Rennie, which ocurred at his home, Grey Gables, on Wednesday of last week.
Captain Rennie retired from the Donaldson Line many years ago.
The funeral, which took place to Sannox Churchyard last Saturday, was attended by a large company of mourners and the service was conducted by the Rev. R. Carmichael.
Captain Rennie is survived by his wife to whom sympathy is extended in her bereavement. |
